Food-safety audit: 2026
Marshall’s BRCGS Issue 9 certificate records an unannounced April 23–24, 2026 audit, grade AA+, and expiry September 28, 2027. It covers portioning, grinding and specified packaging.
A site food-safety audit provides assurance about the management system within its scope. It does not certify cattle feed or farm welfare.
The certificate is separate from the full audit, corrective-action records and individual lot results.
A 2026 audit does not certify the conditions of a 2023–25 photographed pack.

Testing depends on the product
Cargill’s January 2026 E. coli testing programme includes Marshall. It covers eligible trim and ground products; intact vacuum-packed boxed beef is not tested under this programme.
Testing is targeted by product type and intended use. The plant name alone does not establish that a steak or roast was sampled.
No result or sampling record is assigned to any linked ALDI package.
Untested intact material is intended for intact use; customers changing that use need appropriate controls.

Plastic alert: August 2023
In August 2023, FSIS issued an alert for ALDI carne picada from EST. 85M after a report of soft clear plastic. No injuries or illnesses were confirmed; the product was already off sale.
This is a documented incident involving another item from the plant, not a recall of the four products linked here.
The affected carne picada was produced July 25, 2023, with an August 22 use/freeze date and specified timestamps.
No recall was requested because it was no longer available for purchase. This history does not establish a current contamination problem.
