LAMBPRO
Australian sheep-breeding and programme provider near Holbrook, NSW, connected to Willow Bend and the separate Kinross programme.
- About
- Family sheep-breeding operation near Holbrook, NSW, developing maternal and terminal seedstock and commercial market pathways.
- Practices
- Its seedstock work uses DNA parentage, LAMBPLAN performance records, artificial insemination, embryo transfer and natural mating.
- Sourcing
- LAMBPRO represents Willow Bend and Kinross as programme ventures with Endeavour Meats. That role does not trace every retail pack to a farm or processing lot.
- Practices
- Historical resource-flock research found varied sire and environment results, with some incomplete data. Higher fat content is not guaranteed for every commercial lamb.
- Practices
- Its 2023 commercial account describes selective parasite treatment of mature ewes using worm-egg counts. This is not a no-treatment claim for all lambs or a retail treatment record.
